This tester is great. Works with the x431 tools or the app, and it works well. Super easy to use- connect to the tester in the app, select your test parameters, select your CCA and follow the instructions. Tests battery, monitors voltage during crank, and tests alternator. Excellent value for the money- this tester was $50, my coworker bought the Matco version that’s literally just a rebadged Launch, and he paid $140.

My new scanner works well. I have used it a couple times this week with good results.

I run a small shop, so I��m picky about what I keep around. It comes in a solid, heavy plastic case that protects the unit.For the intelligent diagnostic part: it connects to the car on its own and reads the model automatically �� you don��t have to go through the menus picking your make and model every time.It does more than my old OEM-level scanner. The coding function isn��t region-locked, so you can do Stop/Start resets, activate the smart headlights, and similar jobs that would normally mean a dealer trip.The topology scan is the one I use most. It reads live data from every system and lays it out color-coded, so you can see at a glance which parts are flagged and which are fine. When it finishes, it generates a diagnostic report on its own.You can get add-on modules to work with this diagnostic scanner �� key programmer, endoscope, and battery tester �� so one tool can perform more things. Overall, it��s a great buy I��ve made for the shop.

Excellent product

I've used launch equipment to diagnose multiple cars and trucks. It has performed very well. Easy to navigate and lots of options for indepth diagnostics. I have multiple added launch equipment and every device works very well! Highly recommend it for any automotive shop, Heavy Truck shop and heavy equipment shop with the add on of the hd truck scanner. As I am a heavy equipment mechanic and have used other diagnostic tools this device is just as good.

This product is for cars and light trucks in the EU markets. I reached out to Launch directly in the US. They were very helpful in getting me something that would fit my needs. If the one I had gotten would have worked for what I needed, I would have kept it and given a 5-star rating. The product is a quality product. It's just is not intended for the US Market applications per Launch, and the programming reflects this. It will work for some things in the US Market but is limited and CANNOT be upgraded after two years in the USA per Launch. This is why I sent it back.

Works very well! Not one single issue yet. Diagnosed 20 batteries laying around and multiple in the cars around my shop

This scan tool truly does offer advanced diagnostic ability. My only negative is the updates feature. Many times you need to go to work with this tool and it tells you it needs to be updated. These updates may tie you up for 30 minutes. Updates should be controlled by the owner not the seller. Issue number 2, the annual updates used to cost $400 and were unlimited. Now they want $56 per month for the same ability or they let you buy less vehicles coverages for less money. And if you do not update the tool is shut off. You can't use it for any scanning at all. I wish I could use this tool for all it is programmed for today and just buy a new tool in 4-5 years when it goes obsolete.

I have a stand alone battery analyzer that's a lot faster to use, but when doing other OBDII testing diagnostics, it works GREAT with the X-431 Elite I bought also!

Works seamlessly work the scan tool. I've got one of those jobs where I work on everything from lawn mowers to tractor trailer. I've used this to scan mowers and volvo loaders. It's worked on everything then I can turn around and hook it to a freightliner and replace the vgt. This thing just works.

It has been working great and it has diagnosed all cars efficiently that I have worked on. I am enjoying all the features and I am not disappointed. I will give a further update once I have used more of the features.

What I just thought about it is the website being lied to about other things that supposed to been with the product but wasn't and come to find out that you have to buy a separate things for it what I like about it is the big screen on it and extra connectors to it for your older vehicles that's it

Needed a cheaper shop scanner that could reset oil/maintenance lights. Hit or miss on what cars work. Easy to use. Handy for the price. Does take a second to read which obd 2 system but other then that and possible needed up date (2023 was last update when got the scanner) good value if just using scanner part. Easy to read i/m monitor and codes.

Used to using snap on scan tool so does take some time getting used to the differences but has done everything I��ve needed and then some very impressed with it thus far.

I use this almost daily and sometimes multiple times a day. Works good with my phone to check batteries. Connects fast via Bluetooth. I have a couple apps I use with it, Launch BT360 and Thinkeasy. I tend to use the Thinkeasy more often because I prefer the layout and overall functions and feel of the app. I find it easier to edit the battery test files in the Thinkeasy app where I can actually list the tests by vin. Listing by vin so I can access at a later date.
