I was so excited when I bought this scanner, but pretty disappointed when I opened it - there were fingerprints on the screen and the box looked like it had been opened before. I contacted the seller, and their customer service was really nice. They offered to send a new one, and I agreed.After returning the first one, the replacement arrived pretty quick. This one was perfect.It pulls trouble codes super fast, and the topology diagram is great - lets you see the whole system and finds issues right away. Saves me a lot of time on diagnostics.Also has lots of service features. I successfully did an injector coding on my 2012 VW Jetta with it.So far, so good- really glad I got it.

This is a sufficiently good scanner for my work. It offers a very extensive feature set. The topology was a major priority for me when deciding to choose this specific model. Of course, there are a few improvements I would suggest. I would like to have the option to adjust the text scaling and the amount of information displayed on the screen while in data-reading mode. Four lines simply aren't enough for me—especially when I'm monitoring several parameters simultaneously in real-time while driving. It would also be great to have the ability to rearrange the order of items in the list. Those are just the first things that came to mind. If you provide an email address for feedback, I might have further suggestions to add as I continue using the device.

I bought the Launch X431 PRO3 V+ 5.0 and I’m happy with it so far. I wanted something better than a basic code reader without spending huge money on shop tools. This feels like a great middle ground. I think this tool is best for people who work on cars often, do side jobs, or like fixing their own vehicles. If you only want to clear a check engine light, it may be more than you need. But if you want to actually diagnose problems, it has a lot of useful features. I like that it reads more than engine codes, shows live data, does service resets, and helps you figure out issues instead of guessing. Another plus is the add-ons they offer. You can add tools later like TPMS, battery testing, key programming, and more. It’s nice because the scanner can grow with your needs.Overall, I think it’s worth it if you work on multiple vehicles or do your own repairs.

This is a great deal for the money.The scanner boots up quickly and scans all of my cars. The topology feature is a great utility to use to diagnose your car issues.I was able to fix one of my cars check engine lights that has been on forever. The battery life last a very long time and most of all its very easy to use. Has lots of features in it for every car.For the price, i would recommend this to someone who is starting out to be a mechanic or a DIY backyard mechanic

I have several scan tools from different manufacturers and am pleased to report that this unit works beautifully!The topographical module tree and smart scan features make this unit easy to use and gain a quick understanding of what modules are present and how they are interrelated.VIN detection has proven to be fast and accurate.This unit has services that will handle pretty much any diagnostic and repair procedure.For the money, this is a good quality unit that does FAR more than just an entry level scan tool.

I've been wanting a topology mapping capable scanner for a while now but they were out of reach cost wise. Finally found a reliable name with a good price point especially with everything that it comes with. The ability to see the networks mapped out by module is going to make Diagnostics so much easier. Love having the ability to do ADAS Diagnostics and calibrating as well. Once you have topology all other scanners seem stupid. This and FCA and DoIP are a must if you're going to work on anything over 2014 especially Europeans. Plenty of expansion capabilities to add on oscilloscope, borescope, ADAS calibrating , multimeters, Breakout box, battery charging system tools immobilizers and key programmers. The tablet is rugged fast and very capable. I am very pleased with mine don't think you can go wrong with this one With all of its capabilities And Cost. The only issue I've had is setting it up The password does not have to be as difficult As It says in the registration. An eight letter one number password work for me it does not have to be as many characters and special characters and numbers as the registration makes you seem to think that it is.

It has been working great and it has diagnosed all cars efficiently that I have worked on.I am enjoying all the features and I am not disappointed.I will give a further update once I have used more of the features.

I’ve been using Autel scanners for a while, so I was looking for something comparable but with a bit more flexibility. The Launch scanner has been a fantastic find! It comes with a two-year subscription included, which is a great deal. I love that I can renew licenses individually for the specific vehicles I work on the most, instead of having to pay for the entire fleet at once.The interface is pretty similar to Autel, with a few differences in navigation that I found easy to get used to. The topology feature is a standout, making diagnostics much clearer. Plus, being Android-based means I can customize it even further with additional apps and features.I’ve only used it a handful of times so far, but it’s been super fast and efficient, much quicker than some of my older scan tools. Definitely a great buy!

I was looking for a Bluetooth-enabled, bi-directional scanner with a large display and live graphing, the LAUNCH PRO3 V+ 5. 0 has exceeded my expectations. Its exceptional build quality, intuitive operation, and powerful performance make it a standout tool.What impressed me most is the topology. The intuitive color-coded topology display clearly the structures between all modules. It's easy to troubleshoot.The unit arrived packaged with a sturdy carrying case. The tablet itself feels substantial and premium — no flimsy plastics here!Setup was effortless: I paired it via Bluetooth with the cars in minutes for an initial test. It executed every function flawlessly so far. Besides, l'm amazed by the depth of diagnostic data accessible instantly - from pinpointing complex faults to resetting service lights with a single tap.

I was finally able to use this scanner today on a couple of my vehicles.The first one was a 1998 Chevrolet K3500 truck with the 7.4L engine.I scanned the vehicle and did find one code in the PCM.A P0175 which is a rich condition on bank 2.I have seen this same code on two other scanners I own so I was expecting to find it stored using this scanner.The SES light never comes on for this code for some reason.I did look at some live data and this scanner offers a vast variety of live data PIDS.I did find that I had some misfires on cylinder 4 at idle which went away as I gave the engine more rpms.Long term fuel trims were around -7% on both banks at the time I looked at it.The second vehicle I hooked it up to was my 1992 Chevy Cavalier.I wanted to see if it would work with an OBD 1 car.This scanner came with a variety of OBD 1 connectors.It did take me a little while to figure out that I needed a power adapter to power up the VCI so it could communicate with the scanner.Luckily the adapter was included in the kit and I was able to power up the VCI.Unfortunately, the scanner was not able to work with my year car.It did recognize the car after I manually put in the VIN # but the scanner only went back to 1996 for data purposes which is not even OBD 1.I'm not sure what the issue is.The scanner said it was not compatible with my vehicle.Overall it's a very nice scanner with a lot of features.It updates very quickly with our internet.The few negatives that I have found were that on the 1998 truck the initial scan was kind of slow.I'm not sure if that was because the age of the vehicle or what.Every function after that was pretty quick.The other negative of course was the inability for it to work on my OBD 1 vehicle even though it comes with the adapters and the advertisement says it works for OBD 1 vehicles.I get that most people no longer have or work on OBD 1 vehicles so it's probably not a priority for this to work.The last negative was that the advertisement says it has 41+ maintenance features but my scanner only has 37.Maybe in future updates the other ones will be added.Overall, I'm happy with this scanner and look forward to using it on some newer vehicles.

Purchased this scanner as I was looking for a decent scanner for daily use at home that covers a lot of the testing needed for modern cars. I wanted something that would update easily and have lots of support ie. its own you-tube channel showing how it can be used. Thanks for this great product!

This is an incredible tool for any size shop. Are there better? Yes. But for this price you'd be hard-pressed to find one. It does what my shops 6k scanner does and even more with the key programming. I was lucky enough to catch it on sale. The software is easy to use and very responsive tablet. It gives a lot of information on vehicle performance. You can print or email the diagnostic report. Plus it comes with 2 free years. All in all in my opinion was a great purchase! I will definitely recommend this scan tool too others.

Haven’t used it hole lot yet but so far everything works as it should and has a lot of features

I purchased this scan tool for use at work. The size is great making details easy to read. The topology feature makes communication diagnosis a breeze by scanning all modules that are present. Functionality and versatility are above par with different testing options and protocols. The battery life seems to be sufficient enough. The travel case makes organization and protection simple and effective. Only two things I wish this tool had would be some kind of case to protect the plastic and a kickstand. Other than that its been a great addition to my diag box and the vast manufacturers available on it make it easy to work on virtually anything.
