Great scanner. My favorite scanner yet. Super fast, long battery life, rugged this thing isn't going to break. Immo has a great all keys lost function. No complaints I reccomend you try it for yourself. Very easy to use lots and lots of functions and best of the best service resets.

I love how it guides you step by step, programming immobilizer keys, and works great on others cars. I've programmed for a car ��Very useful and easy to use. In addition to its immobilizer functionality,the Launch Elite has significant diagnostic abilities as weell. If you're serious about immobilizer work, I fully recommend this product.

This launch x431 tool is a great piece of equipment. It works well for diagnostic tests and programming keys. The software updates for the actual diagnostic and immobilizer applications are very frequent. I love this programming tool. It works well and the customer service is very kind and helpful.

Compared to other key programming tools, the Launch X431 IMMO Elite is exactly what I needed. It includes the x431 PROG3 ECU programmer for comprehensive IMMO coverage. I added two new keys to my 2007 DodgeDurango with minimal issues, very nice!

We watch the function lights in our car all the time as we try to keep it in tip top condition.We are not mechanics and do not like to be told there might be something wrong with the car when there is an easy explanation.Mechanical things do have quirks, but this helps so much in understanding the things that really need attention and those that can be adjust by the dealer easily.We have this at hand all the time in the storage area of the car so that when we get a trouble indication we are able to diagnose what is wrong and where to go to correct the problem.We had been on the road a number of years ago and the car stopped on the highway.We did not know what was wrong but the indicator lights told us to get it repaired right away.If we had this we could have saved a lot of time and money by being able to understand what was wrong and what repair had to be made.This is a great convenience and also a very informative tool when it comes to taking care of your car!

The scanner and code reader is working well for us. We have five vehicles, three of which are quite new, and two are older. My Jeep is older, and sometimes has dash lights come on. We have taken it to a car parts store to have it read, and they determined that the dash light was connected to the cruise control system, which wasn't helpful. The new scanner has helped us to figure out that the dash lights really mean that there is an issue with a tire sensor, so that will be fixed quickly.To me it's particularly helpful on the vehicles that are driven over long distances regularly. Some areas are remote, and it's disconcerting to have a check engine light (or any of the other dash lights) suddenly light up withoutknowing what is wrong, so we now keep the scanner/ decoder in the vehicle at all times.

Small, lightweight easy to use scanner, even for a car "novice." Which is great because it didn't come with a manual. Navigating the menus is pretty straightforward and this is great to rule out big issues so you can get things resolved quicker. It does not save the codes so keep paper handy to jot them down or type them into google on your phone right away. You could run to autozone and they will do a similar thing for free but it's nice to be able to do it yourself without the trip

Our kids both bought used cars when in high school and this came in handy a number of times when we needed to know what the error code was about. It’s also great when looking at used cars to see if there are any recently cleared faults that the seller might be trying to hide. Basic read out, easy to look up codes, and small enough to carry in a jeans pocket. It you’re a DIYer on fixing your car or just want to know what the fault is this is a handy tool to keep around.

I like the size and the wireless capability of this scanner. It is compact and easy to transport. wireless just makes it more convenient. the diagnostics are spot on. what I don't like are the updates. The process requires a PC and is time-consuming and clunky. Even more annoying is that complimentary updates are available for only two years; then fees are assessed. It seems that with this type of investment required updates should be free for the life of the device. works fine.

Works just as described, reads the codes and tell you what they are and you can also delete them it's very easy to use

I love this system, making it intuitive to navigate. Its saying support for over 200 brands but I only tried my car so far. it’s a powerful and versatile diagnostic tool and it also saying it could update by cloud and offers excellent value with its feature, I think it does making auto diagnostics much more efficient. I had a small one in the past but no luck, will recommend this one.

This is a remarkably easy to use and powerful diagnostic tool. It works right out of the box. The hardest thing to do was to find the dataport on the vehicle. I have not tried to download the information to a PC yet, but when I do, I will update this review.

Most of these diagnostic tools require that I use some specialized app, which I frankly do not want to download. I just don't trust all of these Chinese companies that are trying to put an app on my phone.So I really appreciated that this diagnostic tool has everything there to where I do not need to hook my phone up to anything. It gives me a code, and then I search on Google to figure out what to do.I tested this recently when I was getting a notification saying that maintenance was required. It turned out that my new to me Camry thinks that I should have an oil change a lot more than my mechanic thinks that I should have an oil change. I was glad to know this, and not have to take this into spend $90 to get them to run a code for me and tell me that I needed an oil change.Overall, this is easy to use and I like that it is all in one.

The launch x431 immo elite worked perfectly for programming additional keys for my car. It was easy to use and the guided directions were straightforward.I’ve also helped several friends by making spare keys for them. This tool is absolutely worth every penny.

I have several smaller scanners that connect with Torque Pro app on my smartphone, but I like this LAUNCH X431 Diagnostic Tool better because it has a screen on itself to give me quick diagnostic information.It's features rich and allows me to know the state of my car realistically instead of playing the guessing game.I recommend it!

I love having an OBD II sensor so that I can tell what the heck is wrong with my engine without having to take it into a shop. This sensor does the job. Further, it can read out live, capture the information and you can download it to other sources if you want to do some additional diagnostics. The size is right and the operation is very intuitive. It passed every test and now sits in the glove box of one of our cars so that it's available whenever needed.The only complaint, I thought the font was overly small. It did make it a little more difficult for these older eyes to read the information.

Iv'e been wanting one of these for a while, but hesitated as I was unsure how good it would work.So I jumped at the chance to check this one out.I really like it.I've had a check engine light come on repeatedly in my car, and then pay to have it diagnosed.Nothing is wrong, they say, and they reset it.In a few days it returns.So I read the instructions and hooked up this reader - and it confirmed nothing was wrong. I know finding something would sound better, but believe me, NOT finding a problem is a great relief to me, and I can check it as much as I like, for no cost.I can't compare this reader to others, but I can say it gives a lot of information- more than I need.Great product.

I feel like every vehicle owner needs to atleast have an inexpensive version of a reader just in case they have any lights on and they don’t know what they are.This is great for college student that are on their own for the first time with a vehicle. It gives in-depth, easy to understand info to prevent a freak out if a light comes on (I’ve had plenty with my beater during college, thanks dad).This tells you step by step how to put it in for use. There are also plenty of online videos if you still need help. It will also tell you what the codes mean.I would definitely recommend this very easy to use, very accurate LAUNCH Creader 4001. The price point is way lower than the amount of possible use you’ll get out of this bad boy in the important times. Love it!!**Do not forget, you have to properly set it up via email in order for it to work with the assistant.**
