It is mostly plug and play, it has a rechargeable battery which is nice, so you don’t have to be plugged in to be able to turn it on. It comes with a nice case, thetouchscreen on it is amazing, it's just like using your phone and also very user friendly, if you don’t want to use the touch screen then you can use the buttons instead.Other useful features are the code search. If you're connected to the internet through wifi, when you do the code search it brings up Google search just the same way it does on your phone, it will also save the vehicle information and codes for future use. I've had this tool since January 3, 2024 and it's worked perfectly. I have been able to diagnose a transmission issue on a 2013 F150, Body Control Module failure on a 2018 Toyota Highlander, and just today used it to troubleshoot my wife's 2013 Chevrolet Spark. Being able to see the raw sensor output is so much better than just loading the parts cannon and firing expensive new parts onto the vehicle! The only complaint I have, if you'd even call it that, is the Android operating system it runs is very slow to boot but once it's on it's not bad at all.

This is my on the go scanner. It does live data, pulls codes from all modules. Air bag, brakes, engine, trans, and all other modules. It has an extremely long life battery. I used this OBD scanner to diagnose an electronic brake issue I was having with my car, and it pointed me in the right direction after it deciphered the error code from the OBD port. I also tested it on a different car to check to see if there were any codes, and it also successfully scanned through that car as well. I have been able to diagnose a transmission issue on a 2013 F150, Body Control Module failure on a 2018 Toyota Highlander, and just today used it to troubleshoot my wife's 2013 Chevrolet Spark. Being able to see the raw sensor output is so much better than just loading the parts cannon and firing expensive new parts onto the vehicle! The only complaint I have, if you'd even call it that, is the Android operating system it runs is very slow to boot but once it's on it's not bad at all.

If you're looking for a full featured tablet style automotive scan tool then this is an excellent. This tool has a ton of features and I'd easy to use even for a beginner. This can also be used on many different brands and different models. The unit has very often updates so you can ensure that your getting the most up to date fixes and features for your vehicle. Simply plug the tool into the OBDII port on your car and follow the prompts. I'm very happy with this scan tool.

This is my on the go scanner. It does live data, pulls codes from all modules. Air bag, brakes, engine, trans, and all other modules. It has an extremely long life battery. I've left it on but in sleep over the weekend. Still had 80%. It simply does it all and lasts forever. No issues from me and updates are free

I used this OBD scanner to diagnose an electronic brake issue I was having with my car, and it pointed me in the right direction after it deciphered the error code from the OBD port. I also tested it on a different car to check to see if there were any codes, and it also successfully scanned through that car as well. I am surprised by the level of support between different brands and the detailed messages from the error codes.

LAUNCH X431 CRP123XPlus This obd2 scanner works better and faster with WIFI connection butt its not needed I used it on a 2006 f150 it even found a Courtesy Switch Error (dash lite dimer ) and a Fuel pump Driver Module Error (fried Module) . I do like the Bigger size screen (bad eyes and Big fingers )
